Great redneck feeling. Absolutely felt at home. Awesome picture in the walls and decorated country like us. We appreciate the waitress being patient with a 3 year old and 5 year old. She was great. The sweet tea was amazing. Better than my mom's but don't tell her I said that. My brother loved his chicken fried steak and the kids meal chicken tenders are so big they ate one and had left overs.

We found Big Bobs Restaurant thanks to Google maps and we weren't disappointed at all. The 3 of us had been travelling 2 days following a trip to Chicago and we still have a 5.5 hours drive left! So we wanted some good tasty home cooked food and we were delighted with the choice of food at Big Bobs, the service was also great and we all left satisfied. We were even more delighted to find out that when we went to pay the bill, some wonderful regulars (though strangers to us!) had paid for our meal! So incredibly kind and unexpected, it restores your faith in humanity - so a huge thank you to them!! We recommend Big Bobs and are only sad that we're unlikely to pass this way again - as I head back to Scotland, I realise it's not local to me!!!!

I ordered a Ribeye it was the most tender, tastiest steak I've had in a long time. I recommend this place. My server Emily was the best ever she knew the menu back an forward you should go try this place it's worth the drive and ask for Emily

The bread was so good, served warm with a nice soft butter. We had the chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Both were really good. Green beans were seasoned very well. Sweet tea was too sweet. We will def be back to try some of their appetizers and their steaks. They have daily specials on weekdays.

We drove an hour from home to go out for dinner. The place we chose was closed. We happened on this place absolutely the better choice. The food was delicious. I'm probably talking about the best steakhouse we've been to in Texas. The service was great and atmosphere friendly. Off the beaten path but definitely worth the drive. We will certainly be back.
